Not sure about the sewing patterns, the software is designed to flatten the double-curvature surfaces like ship hull surfaces. You can send the parts to support@smartunfold.com.

@@TheOne10525 the software doesn't know the texture, but it can unfold the curves which is on the surfaces. So if you have a symbol "A", then the "A" consists of many lines or splines, then the software can unfold those lines or spline, then you will get a "A" symbol on the XY Plane plus the surface contour.

We only handle geometry. So you can get all the unfolded mesh boundary curves. It is one way only: from 3D to 2D, not the other way around.

The unfold results are just a 2D contours. If you unfold mesh surfaces, you can get polygon faces depending on the option you have choose.

depends on the model shape. But the difference between the model surface area and the unfolded area in the XY Plane should be within 0.1% of the model surface area.
